- Tender raw jack fruit
- 2 chopped onions
- 4 green chilies chopped
- 1 tbsp jeera(cumin)
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- Bread crumb or Suji
- coriander leaves handful
Preparation Time 30 min.
Take a quarter jack fruit and put it inside a pressure cooker and blow 1 whistle. Now separate the fruit pods from the jackfuit and remove the seeds and smash it.
Take smashed jack fruit, 2 finely chopped onions, small cut of green chilies and mix it well, now add jeera and turmeric powder , add washed coriander leave, salt as per taste and mix it very well. Turn them into small cutlets, preferably flat and round so it is fried in proper and evenly. Dip the cutlet bread crumb or suji.
Heat a pan on medium flame. Once the pan is heated add oil to the pan and place the cutlet to shallow fry. Close the pan with lid, so the cutlet can be soft after sometime turn over and let the other side be fried.
Add some coriander leaves and Jack fruit cutlet are read to serve.
