Jack fruit Cake using Rawa without Oven
- 1 cup jack fruit pulp
- 1 cup rawa (semolina)
- 1/2 cup Maida (all purpose flour)
- 1 tspoon baking powder
- 1/2 tspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup jaggery or sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- cashew and raisin (optional)
Preparation Time 1 hr.
Take a bowl add all the ingredients jack fruit pulp ,rawa ,maida ,baking powder ,baking soda ,milk ,oil and for sweetness melted jaggery or sugar. You can add cashew and raisin for little crunchiness. Beat the batter till all the ingredients are mixed propely and smoothly. Close the batter and let it sit for minimum 15 mins.
Now take non-stick kadai and place a baking paper(optional) inside and grease the whole kadai with oil properly. Keep a pan on stove for heating now pour the batter in kadai mix it a little before pouring it. keep the kadai on the pan, we are keeping the kadai pan so the cake does not over cook and burn the base. Close the lid, and let it cook on medium flame for 30 min with supervision.
let the cake cool for sometime and later remove it in a plate you can add some cashew or raisin or jack fruit small pieces as topping and the cake is ready to serve.
